Health tech organisations visit Imperial

Melanie Leis and Clare McCrudden met with delegates from the Austrian Healthcare Sector to showcase IGHI's digital health work.

A group of Austrian and European health-tech organisations visited Imperial College London on 23 April 2024 to learn about latest innovation and research on digital health

This session was organised by Advantage Austria UK and Imperial Enterprise who invited Institute of Global Health Innovation (IGHI) colleagues to demonstrate the range of health tech innovations and policy papers that have been achieved to date.

Clare McCrudden presents on OnTrack stroke rehabilitation

Melanie Leis, Director of Policy and Analysis and Clare McCrudden, Policy Fellow presented on the Centre for Health Policy's work in the fields of digital health and cybersecurity, and shared one specific example around stroke rehabilitation: OnTrack Rehab.  

The visit to Imperial was part  part of the EU project DESIRE (Development of E-Health Solutions Improving Resilience in Europe), which aims to facilitate SME's access to European Digital Health markets by offering various support services in the areas of internationalisation, innovation and qualification. Besides Austria (led by ICS Styria and Human.technology Styria), DESIRE project partners from Poland and Romania and joined the session to hear about the work at IGHI.
