Imperial Chemical Biology technician Daria Berezina lead a workshop for local White City families to help them understand genetic engineering
Daria, a member of the Tate research group at the Molecular Sciences Research Hub, hosted her interactive seminar on DNA Discovery at the Invention Rooms. Both children and adults got involved to learn about genetic material and how it can be used in cutting edge research. The workshop taught local families the basics of genetic engineering and let them know about the world leading research that is happening on their doorsteps.
We would like to thank the Invention Rooms team for helping Daria prepare her workshop, especially Andrew Brooks, as well as Caroline Allison for all of her help during the seminar.
