Three Imperial Computing staff win President's Medals for their exceptional contributions to education and research.


The Department of Computing at Imperial is thrilled to announce that three of our esteemed colleagues have been honored with the President's Medals, reflecting their exceptional contributions to education and research.

Dr Jackie Bell has been awarded the President’s Medal for Excellence in Education, specifically for her remarkable efforts in Supporting the Student Experience. Her dedication to enhancing the academic journey of our students has set a new benchmark in educational support, fostering an environment where students can thrive both academically and personally.


Professor Ben Glocker received the President’s Medal for Excellence in Research in the category of Excellence in Impact. Ben’s pioneering research has made significant contributions to his field, demonstrating profound real-world impact.

His work continues to inspire and drive forward the boundaries of knowledge and application, embodying the innovative spirit of Imperial.

Dr Calvin Tsay has been recognized with the President’s Medal for Excellence in Research as an Outstanding Early Career Researcher. This award highlights Calvin's extraordinary accomplishments early in his career, showcasing his potential to lead transformative research and his commitment to advancing scientific understanding.

It is great to see our colleagues' outstanding achievements being recognized through these prestigious awards. These accolades not only reflect their individual excellence but also the collaborative and supportive environment within the Department of Computing.
