I-X, Imperial College London’s flagship interdisciplinary research initiative, focuses on the convergence of AI, data science, and digital technologies to create transformative change across industries.

The Fetch.ai Innovation Lab will foster collaboration between academia, industry, and Imperial’s high-calibre student population, pushing the boundaries of AI technology for real-world applications.

Objective-focused innovation at Imperial

Imperial’s Science for humanity strategy puts emphasis on the university’s founding pillar to be useful to wider society. The Fetch.ai Innovation Lab at I-X fits squarely within that criteria, while being at the forefront of the latest technology and thinking around the evolving AI sector.

The Innovation Lab’s three core objectives are:

  1. Accelerating AI-driven innovation: empowering startups for success
The Fetch.ai Startup Accelerator is designed to transform early-stage startups into AI-driven industry leaders. As part of its commitment to accelerating AI adoption and innovation, Fetch.ai has allocated $10 million in funding to support AI-driven projects through the global Fetch.ai Innovation Labs which currently include San Francisco, India and London. This funding will be instrumental in advancing research and scaling real-world applications built on Fetch.ai’s agent-based technology.
  2. Fetch.ai Ambassador Innovator Club
The Ambassador Innovator Club fosters innovation within the Fetch.ai ecosystem by empowering innovators to build applications using AI agents. Through hackathons, workshops, and networking events, members gain access to resources and a vibrant community, driving groundbreaking ideas and growth.
  3. Fetch.ai Internship Incubator Program
The Internship Incubator Program engages talented individuals in high-impact AI projects, offering hands-on experience and mentorship. Interns will work on real-world challenges using Fetch.ai’s agent technology, accelerating their careers while advancing AI-driven solutions. The lab will also host workshops and events to promote learning and showcase successful applications in the field.
