Imperial Network of Excellence in Sustainability through Life Cycle Approaches hosts its inaugural symposium
On Wednesday 26 March 2025, the Imperial Network of Excellence in Sustainability through Life Cycle Approaches hosted its inaugural symposium - an inspiring event that brought together researchers and practitioners of life cycle assessment (LCA) from Imperial and beyond.
Led by Network lead Onesmus Mwabonje, the event featured insightful discussions, including a panel moderated by Jem Woods, who also delivered the closing remarks.
A highlight of the symposium was the best poster award, which went to Alexandra Olid Stepanchuk for her work on "The Role of LCA in Understanding the Nexus Between the Environment and Health in Low- and Middle-Income Countries."
The event was made possible by the dedication of Onesmus Mwabonje, Alexandra Olid Stepanchuk, Maria Vinograd and Jasmin Cooper who served on the organising committee.
With the success of this first symposium, the event is set to become an annual fixture. Stay connected with the Network for updates on next year’s edition!
