KAUST Full MSc Scholarships for Undergraduates in Science & Technology 6th of March 2009
The King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) opened its doors in September 2009 under the direction of some of the world's leading research universities, (Harvard, MIT, Stanford, UC, Berkeley)
KAUST (Kind Abdullah University of Science and Technology in Saudi Arabia) has invited Imperial College to nominate current undergraduate students for the KAUST Discovery scholarship. KAUST will pay a full scholarship for your undergraduate degree at Imperial College. After finishing your studies at Imperial College it is expected that you do a two year Masters Course at KAUST, which is also fully funded. Please see below for more details provided by KAUST. The KAUST Discovery Scholarship
King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) is being built in Saudi Arabia as an international, graduate-level research university dedicated to inspiring a new age of scientific achievement in the Kingdom that will also benefit the region and the world. KAUST will be merit-based and will recruit men and women from around the world.
What the Discovery Scholarship Offers:
* Full scholarship at your current institution plus a living, book and computer stipend
* Full scholarship for a Masters degree at KAUST plus a generous living stipend
Eligibility Requirements for Nominees:
* Be currently enrolled in a bachelor's/first university degree program in a KAUST-relevant field of study
* Current field of study must be in a KAUST-relevant area, such as Engineering, Mathematics, or the Physical, Chemical and Biological Sciences
* Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent in other international grading systems
* Ability to enroll at KAUST in 2009, 2010, or 2011
* Official English transcript (or official translation)
* A minimum TOEFL score of 79 on the IBT (Internet Based Test) or 6.0 on the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) upon award offer
* Demonstrate academic and research interest and/or leadership potential
* Ability to travel outside home country to attend KAUST development activities
