Alumni meet in Hong Kong
Local alumni met for an informal social gathering in Hong Kong
"Alumni recently met up in the Tsim Sha Tsui district of Hong Kong and enjoyed a social evening gathering together in a local ChiuChow restaurant.
The following alumni, and their wives, got together:
Wo Kit Chan (Computing 1978) - Chan currently works with IBM (UK and mostly China/Hong Kong-based since 1978), in a senior technical position. Chan recently enjoyed a top IBM award trip to Bermuda.
Stephen Ping Hi Cheung (Computing 1978) - Stephen has worked in the IT sector from 1978 to 1994 (1980-92 at IBM, Hong Kong). Stephen is currently a Regional Vice President of Primerica Financial Services. He is now based in Vancouver, and is the local alumni representative for Imperial.
William So (Computing 1981) - William works in IT/telecoms since 1981 (including IBM). Currently a senior manager at China Netcom, and flies often between Beijing (his home these days) and Hong Kong, both great cities for business.
Tony Law (Computing 1981) - Tony has worked in IT since 1981 ( mostly for Standard Chartered Bank until recently). These days, Tony is planning his next 'got to be' passion for his life pursuit and career.
Our wives are achiever in their own rights: May, Maranda, Helen, Terry, and justly proud in many ways too!
Was nice to have a get together."
