Imperial College has been awarded £8.9m to create a BHF Centre for Research Excellence.
The centre aims to encourage scientists outside traditional biomedical research to engage in cardiovascular research by training investigators in a way that exposes them to disciplines which have traditionally been segregated. Three of the fifteen centre themes are CBC badged.
