Becky Ryder

I am a first-year PhD student in the Department of Earth Science and Engineering, under the supervision of Dr Pablo Brito-Parada. My research focuses on how we can systematically quantify and analyse how water resources are used in the mining industry, to assess the impact of key technologies, such as dry stacking, on the use of water in the mining process (linking them to social, economic and environmental factors).
