I am an Engineering graduate and Life Sciences postgraduate researcher, recipient of the Schrodinger scholarship and part of Cohort 10 of the Science and Solutions for a Changing Planet DTP (SSCP DTP), with an interest in eco-monitoring. Currently, my primary focus is working towards applying my software engineering abilities to the field of environmental monitoring and protection, with my PhD work entitled ''Scalable biodiversity monitoring using autonomously operated drones and eco-acoustic sensors". My previous work has included developing an automated system for the identification of bird species by flight pattern using machine learning, which I presented at CWW 2023.
