David Martínez Pascual is a visiting Ph.D. student Robotics and Artificial Intelligence research group at Miguel Hernandez University in Elche, Spain. He holds a Bachelor's in Electronic Engineering and Industrial Automation from Miguel Hernandez University (2019) and a Master's in Robotics from Miguel Hernandez University (2020).

His research focuses on the design and control of robotic devices, the evaluation of human-robot interaction, assistive robotics, and rehabilitation robotics.

During his visit to Imperial College, he is working on an auto-adapted rehabilitation system architecture that takes into account the user's motor abilities and their affective state to personalise the therapy.
