AB - We demonstrate the first single-sideband 50-Gb/s/λ coarse WDM direct-detection transmission in the O-band. It is shown that the Kramers-Kronig-detection assisted single-sideband transmission exhibits significant OSNR sensitivity improvements over double-sideband transmission, enabling up to 100-km reach.
