Funding is available to support community building and networking activities in preparation for forthcoming GCRF call opportunities. Funding can be applied for to build partnerships with appropriate stakeholders, including overseas research institutions in developing countries.
Activities for support through this call may include, but are not limited to:
- Outward visits for College Academics or Research Staff to a Research institution in an ODA eligible country to investigate the potential for, initiate, follow-up, or work on a collaborative project or training opportunity, and for other stakeholder engagement;
- Inward visits for Academics or Research Staff from an ODA eligible country to investigate the potential for, initiate, follow-up, or work on a collaborative project or training opportunity;
- Reciprocal visits between Imperial and Research institutions in an ODA eligible country;
- Networking events such as workshops and seminars to bring together researchers to foster new links or strengthen existing collaborations.
A budget of up to £150,000 is available to support activities to build communities with the aim of strengthening applications to future GCRF opportunities. Funding can be used to support one off events or a series of smaller meetings involving College researchers (including those outside your existing network), UK collaborators and overseas participants from ODA countries.
