Hogrefe is part of Jisc’s read and publish agreement for the APA PsycArticles database from August 2023.

Corresponding authors affiliated with Imperial can publish original peer-reviewed research articles in 15 Hogrefe hybrid journals without cost to them. A 25% discount for three fully open access journals also applies.

“Corresponding author" means the person who submits the manuscript to the journal, is responsible for correspondence regarding the article, and is listed as such within the article. The designation of “corresponding author” is independent of the order in which contributing authors are listed. Hogrefe do not permit multiple corresponding authors. When the corresponding author has multiple affiliations, the institution of the author’s primary (first-named) affiliation is determining.

Authors will be made aware of this agreement during the submission and review process in the Editorial Manager submission portal, which will link to the terms of the agreement and a sample publication release. After acceptance, you will be sent a publication release form tailored to the agreement. You will be asked to state your affiliation, and Imperial’s open access team will be contacted to confirm this.

Further information, including a list of journals included, is available on Hogrefe’s Open access for UK authors publishing in APA PsycArticles page.

If you have any questions regarding this agreement or the process please contact the open access team.
