How can we help you?

Imperial Policy Forum can offer a range of support including evidence submissions and consultation responses to government and parliament; internships, and additional opportunities such as workshops and roundtables. If you would like to learn more about any of the opportunities listed below, feel free to reach out to us here

Opportunities

House of Parliament

Parliament

Parliamentary Select Committees, Bill Committees and All-Party Parliamentary Groups regularly request evidence from academia to inform their inquiries. We can support with the submission of consultation responses, ensuring your evidence is submitted in a clear way that meets the requirements of the department or committee.

Government

UK Government departments regularly run policy consultations and calls for evidence on research areas of interest to help shape and inform its policies. We can provide support in identifying the elements of the consultation relevant to your research and help you produce both written and oral evidence.

Internships

IPF runs an internship programme for early career researchers that are looking to broaden their understanding of the interaction between research and policy. These 6-8 week placements give interns the opportunity to work on policy briefings and conduct parliamentary monitoring alongside IPF staff. For more information please contact Pete Ford, Head of the Imperial Policy Forum (p.ford@imperial.ac.uk)

Other opportunities

We regularly collaborate with other institutions on a range of events such as workshops and roundtables. These can be a great opportunity to learn more about policy engagement and build your network. If you're interested in partnering with us, we'd love to hear from you!
