Raquel Ribeiro - Visiting PhD student (8/2024-12/2024)
Raquel Ribeiro joined Functional Membranes and Energy Materials group as a guest PhD student, from August 2024 until December 2024, coming from the Technical University of Denmark - DTU. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Porto (FEUP), where she also completed her Master's in Product and Process Engineering. During her MSc studies, Raquel conducted her thesis research at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in Stuttgart, focusing on degradation tests for PEM fuel cells.
Her current PhD research centers on developing porous separators for alkaline electrolysis, as part of a project in collaboration with Stiesdal.
