Imperial views mentoring as an important way in which staff can progress their careers, grow in confidence, and be more effective. We have a large number of mentoring schemes in place across the university.

New for 2025! Mentors are invited to join the first "Mentoring Celebration"- this is a new, annual event in which all mentors are invited to come and join colleagues to celebrate all things mentoring!

This two-hour event will consist of a high-profile guest speaker, a networking session to share best practice with colleagues, and a chance to hear from other Imperial speakers about how they have grown their skills and abilities as mentors.
