Who should attend?
This workshop opens by introducing Advance HE and the Professional Standards Framework (PSF 2023), and outlining the Imperial STAR Framework and the various pathways to fellowship available to Imperial College staff who teach and/or support learning. Delegates will then explore which category of Fellowship is best aligned with their current level of experience before beginning the process of mapping their practice to the Professional Standards Framework.
Participants will receive guidance on how to complete their Reflective Account of Practice, which forms the heart of a fellowship application, in an appropriately reflective and scholarly style. They will also be able to identify opportunities for further professional development in learning and teaching.
Key areas
- Describing the STAR Framework and the Professional Standards Framework (PSF 2023)
- Mapping teaching and learning practice against the PSF
- Exploring areas for professional development and identifying opportunities to address them
