Meeting monthly, and reporting to the Early Career Research Institute (ECRI) Management Group, this Group is responsible for receiving recommendations to enhance and develop ECRI provision, commissioning ECRI work and has overall responsibility for the quality assurance of ECRI learning, development and support provision. It is the key interface between ECRI and its main stakeholders, to ensure that ECRI is meeting the needs of the Imperial community.

Innovation and Identification
- To receive recommendations from the ECRI Stakeholder Group and the Specialist/Technical Advisory Groups on the development of ECRI learning and development provision.
- Based on recommendations from the Stakeholder Group and Specialist/Technical advisory Groups, to commission development work for new ECRI provision.
- To commission work to be carried out by ECRI staff as articulated in institution-wide Action Plans:
- the Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES)
- the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES)
- the Student Experience Survey
- the Race Equality Charter
- Athena SWAN
- Mental health and wellbeing strategy - To commission work to be carried out by ECRI staff in response to external drivers such as the Concordat, UKRI and REF.
Monitoring - To have overall responsibility for the quality assurance of ECRI provision, as defined by the ECRI Quality Assurance Framework.
- To make recommendations to ECRI Management Group.
