This session is a unique opportunity for all doctoral researchers to receive integrated support from the Registry Assessment Records Team, the Graduate School and the Library’s Open Access Team.

It has two parts you can attend separately or together (about 60 minutes each, depending on questions). If you want to attend both parts, please register separately.

This session will provide students with an overview of the key final stages of their research degree programme, and associated College regulations, policies and procedures. This includes:  

  • Arrangements for your writing up period
  • Confirming your entry for examination, and the examiner nomination process
  • Submitting your thesis for examination
  • Viva examination procedures and result outcomes
  • Final thesis and award
