3 Top tips for writing an expression of interest:

1. Read and analyse the project description carefully. Be sure to click on links to any further information mentioned and read that as well. You can get some general tips on how to analyse job advertisements from the Careers Service.
2. Make it easy for your staff partners to shortlist you by targeting your expression of interest to the two questions they need answering.
   1. Can you do the project?
   2. Why do you want to do the project?
3. Use evidence to support any statements you make from the experiences you have had e.g. if you say you have a strength in a particular skill/area, you need to provide evidence of the experience that you had to build this strength.
