Open access means to offer free and immediate access to digital and online scholarly content to everyone. It facilitates the discovery, dissemination and sharing of knowledge and research.
Imperial College’s MPhil and PhD Regulations requires that your doctoral thesis be made open access, after the successful completion of your Viva. The final version of your thesis must be submitted to Imperial’s open access repository Spiral.
You can find out more about open access in the Scholarly Communication webpages.
