Personal Tutors
All Masters students will be allocated a Personal Tutor, the first point of contact for support and advice.
Senior Tutors
The Senior Tutor team can offer pastoral support and advice and you can arrange to have an appointment with them at any time during your studies. They can offer advice on mitigating circumstances and what to do if things are not going to plan.
Student Wellbeing Advisor
You can talk to the team about academic pressures, personal matters and much more. We have an advisor onsite at Silwood Park fortnightly and online appointments are available at other times.
Support
- Disability Advisory Service Team onsite once a term.
- Weekly drop-in support sessions with the Student Experience Coordinator, with one-to-one bookable appointments also available throughout the week.
- Student Wellbeing Advisor onsite regularly, providing guidance and advice about managing wellbeing.
Resources
- Equality, Diversity & Inclusion activities, training and workshops, including active bystander, unconscious bias, mindfulness & stress management, LGBTQ+ celebration and information session, imposter syndrome, 'look out for your mate' workshop.
- Student Experience Committee - student-led, with staff in attendance. An opportunity for students to feed back on non-academic areas of student life.
