Unprecedented change on Earth over the last 100 years has precipitated catastrophic declines in biodiversity worldwide, which will accelerate over the coming decades. Silwood Park researchers are leading efforts to document the impacts of pollution and climate change, map the causes of biodiversity declines, and to search for viable solutions. Silwood Park’s research also has strong influence on society by providing subsidies for new legislation to protect and restore wildlife and nature.
