Bio

Christoforos Galazis is a PhD candidate at Imperial College London where he focuses on the development of deep neural networks to extract structural and functional biomarkers of the heart to improve the prognostic and diagnostic capabilities. His research interests lie at the intersection of computer vision, machine learning and medical imaging. Prior to the start of his PhD studies, Christoforos earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Cyprus and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Edinburgh. Through his academic and professional experiences, Christoforos has developed a strong foundation in machine learning, computer vision, and medical imaging, and he is committed to applying these skills to make meaningful contributions to the field of healthcare.
