The EPSRC Centre for Mathematics of Precision Healthcare (CMPH) will bring together research in networks, dynamics, stochastic processes, inference, dimensionality reduction, control and optimisation to problems in personalised health.

Research under CMPH will start with core research projects and will expand its portfolio of themes and researchers through open calls for co-funded projects and pump-priming initiatives following a series of workshops, problem-led sessions and hack-a-thons. The open calls will be advertised here during the first two years of the Centre.

Our initial core projects span mathematical methods for control and inference of health processes in high dimensional spaces. All the projects invoke graphs/networks to describe the states of individuals and groups in feature space, linked with lower dimensional representations of data, to enhance clinical understanding for medical intervention through therapy and policy.
