The Transport & Environmental Laboratory is a group within the Centre for Transport Studies at the Department for Civil and Environmental Engineering at Imperial College London.

The mission of the lab is to advance our understanding of interactions between transport and the environment so that we can develop approaches to mitigate negative impacts in the face of growing transport activity. 

Our research spans across different transport modes, uses a range of environmental monitoring and modelling approaches, and is in collaboration with a number of industry and academic partners.

The lab was initially established in 2010, known as the Transport and Environmental Analysis group.

The current group leader is Dr Marc Stettler.
