Funding for public engagement with research during social distancing
Our Rapid Response Seed Fund (RRSF) ran from April 2020 - August 2021 to support projects that continued to engage the public while face-to-face activities could not take place during lockdowns and social distancing. Projects could be digital or remote in nature.
The fund was open for applications on a rolling basis and applicants received a response within a week of submitting. As restrictions have eased, we have re-launched our regular Societal Engagement Seed Fund to fund all forms of engagement activity. Based on the positive feedback from the RRSF, we have decided to keep the rolling deadline and aim to continue to respond to applications in a short timeframe.
