Philip Vautier graduated from the MEng programme in 2012. After graduation, he joined the global engineering consultancy Atkins, working in the Cities & Infrastructure team.

He has worked on a number of high profile projects such as Crossrail, HS2 and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park Transformation. In 2013, Philip was recognised as 'Highly Commended' as a finalist in the NCE Civil Engineering Graduate of the Year Awards.

Looking back at his time on the course, Philip believes that it had a big influence on his career to date, through the development of strong technical, interpersonal and communication skills on top of a strong work ethic, all developed during his time at Imperial.
