reading a health policy document

Our Virtual Open Day, on Wednesday, 1 May 2024, 12.30 is a great way to find out more about studying Health Policy at Imperial’s Faculty of Medicine.

Imperial’s online Health Policy courses are designed for a wide audience, including health and healthcare managers, policy-makers, health-related industry representatives, clinicians and allied health professionals

The course aims to equip health sector professionals with the skills to improve the quality of, and evidence-based, health policy design and delivery for the benefit of patients and the broader population.

You’ll study a broad range of topics across two streams, ‘Leading Innovative Change’ and ‘Policy Theory, Economics and Public Health’, allowing you to become familiar with the quantitative and qualitative research techniques used to carry out original studies, and develop the ability to critique existing and emerging health policy.

Our modules are led by, and contributed to by, national and world-renowned health advisors, whilst ensuring that educational content delivery combines three core elements:

  • theory and research
  • keynote examples by those who have shaped health policy
  • practical authentic teaching exercises to emphasise real-world example

This virtual event will include presentations from the course leaders, discussing teaching, assessments and delivery, and will also feature a short session with an alumnus.
