Dr Paul E Hardisty, a graduate of Imperial College London, talks about the role of storytelling in communicating the truth about climate change. His best-selling novels THE FORCING and THE DESCENT describe a near future where climate change has fundamentally altered everything we have come to rely on, and blame is being assigned.  

After a thirty-year career as an engineer and scientist, including most recently six years as CEO of Australia’s National Marine Science Agency, Paul is now writing full time. His first non-fiction book, IN HOT WATER: Inside the Battle to Save the Great Barrier Reef, will be published later this month.
