About this Challenge Team
The "sustainable welcome box" project aims to create a thoughtful and environmentally friendly initiative for welcoming new students to Silwood campus. The design of the welcome boxes incorporates vegetarian snacks, plants and planting kits, recipes, and information about Silwood campus and life. This project aims to help new students adjust to college life more smoothly, foster a sense of belonging and community, and demonstrate the campus's commitment to their well-being and environmental stewardship. By incorporating sustainable materials and vegetarian snacks, the project reduces waste and promotes eco-friendly practices, contributing to a more sustainable campus environment.
