Scholarship Opportunities for 2024 entry 

National Heart and Lung Institute (NHLI) scholarships

We are pleased to offer four NHLI scholarships for highly motivated new UK or international applicants for our Allergy postgraduate programmes for the next academic year 2024-2025.

This comprises:

  • One scholarships covering £3,000 towards fees
  • Three scholarships covering £2,000 towards fees

These awards are open to all students who make an application to a postgraduate course in Allergy. It is not essential for applicants to have already received an offer of a place on a programme, but the initial programme application must be made before applying for a scholarship.

Briess Family Charitable Trust (BFCT) scholarship

We are also offering one scholarship supported by the Briess Family Charitable Trust (BFCT).
 
The BFCT is a family charity wanting to support a student into our programme. Their teenage daughter tragically died in 2021 from perioperative anaphylaxis, the Allergy Faculty have worked closely to support the family since. This scholarship is being offered as a legacy after this immensely sad event. 
  • This scholarship will be awarded to one student applying to the MSc Allergy 
  • It is worth £7025 and would cover 50% of the total MSc fee for Home students (UK or Ireland)
  • This scholarship can be awarded to a Home or Overseas student in the online or blended stream

How to Apply

To apply for the scholarship, candidates are asked to submit a brief CV (max. two pages) and complete the application form by 31 May 2024. Please note that your CV will need to be sent separately to allergypgs@imperial.ac.uk and your application will not be considered until it is received. Your application will be reviewed by an expert panel of experienced academics and the decision will be communicated by the end of July to all applicants.
