Collaborative Access Instruments

The Facility provides direct independent access to the following equipment to Imperial users.

  • Qubit 3.0
  • Agilent Bioanalyzer
  • Covaris M220
  • 10X Genomics Chromium
  • StepOnePlus™ Real-Time PCR System

These equipments need to be booked in advance in order to be accessed and any required kits, chips, consumables and pippettes should be provided by the user. For the 10X machine kits can be provided upon request/quote and the booking should be done through our online system.

SINGLE CELL 10X ACCESS BOOKING:

In order to keep track of the availability of 10x kits to be use please do the following:

  1. Get in touch to discuss your requirements igf@imperial.ac.uk.
  2. Quotation: Sign and return the quotation received (Ask for any changes needed before signing).
  3. Book a slot: Book a slot on the facility 10X outlook calendar (Ask to get access) using the quote number and your full name. If you require urgent access to the machine before raising a quote, please ask for a quote as soon as you can and add the quote number and name on the calendar slot that was used. If you are using your own reagents, please type “Using own reagents” next to your full name.
