The IIPTC offers hands-on laboratory-based training for metabolic profiling, delivered in a state-of-the-art facility. The IIPTC exploits the extensive expertise of the College as a world-class academic institute, harbouring internationally recognised leaders in metabolic profiling. Our academic and research staff are committed to developing new technology and techniques to provide a tool for systems biology and stratified medicine. Through our diverse range of backgrounds and collaborations with clinicians, scientists and industry we aim to deliver knowledge and practical experience of state-of-the-art metabolic profiling and work towards delivering a new paradigm in personalised medicine and stratified health care.
The Imperial International Phenome Training Centre (IIPTC) was established by Imperial College London, in association with the MRC-NIHR National Phenome Centre.

What we do
The IIPTC offers hands-on training courses using state-of-the-art instrumentation in a world-class facility run by renowned specialists located in the Division of Systems Medicine at Imperial College London. We offer a friendly, intimate learning experience where small groups of trainees can interact with highly experienced training centre instructors and guest lecturers. We aim to deliver training that will equip attendees with skills they can immediately implement in their own facilities through a combination of lectures, demonstrations, hands-on laboratory sessions and practical data analysis.
