BORS is the premier UK society for Clinical and Academic Orthopaedic and Musculoskeletal related research. It is a multidisciplinary association founded in 1961 and devoted to pursuing research relevant to orthopaedic and musculoskeletal science and surgery.
The research interests of its membership (currently over 700) are varied and include: Biological Science, Biomechanics, Tissue Engineering, Osteoarticular Pathology, Interventions, Biotribology, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, Medical Imaging, Patient Management and Clinical Outcomes etc. Abstracts are published in the journal of Bone and Joint Research and Bone and Joint Journal
