Summary
As Engagement Manager for capacity building within the Public Engagement team, Charlotte trains and supports Imperial staff and students to engage public audiences with their research.
Before joining Imperial in December 2022, Charlotte worked as Public Engagement Manager within the Institute of Zoology at the Zoological Society of London (ZSL), developing and delivering events and activities that enabled ZSL researchers, zoo keepers and conservationists to engage the public with their work. During this time she co-created and led the BIAZA Gold Award Winning programme CSI of the Sea.
Prior to working at ZSL, Charlotte was a senior Science Communicator at the Natural History Museum (London) developing and delivering a range of public events that enabled scientific staff to engage directly with public audiences.
Charlotte is a member of the NCCPE's Public Engagement Professionals Network and is the co-chair of the London Public Engagement Network.
Charlotte has an MSc in Science Communication and a BSc in Ecology and Environmental Biology.
