Summary

As Head of Public Engagement, Vicky leads on the College strategy and operational delivery for public engagement programmes and initiatives. As part of this role, Vicky is Director for the Great Exhibition Road Festival. She also takes a leading role in work to embed a culture of societal engagement across Imperial through training and skills development programmes for staff and students, developing staff networks and supporting fundraising.

Vicky joined Imperial in November 2015. Prior to this she was Head of Engagement and Interpretation at Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, with responsibility for developing the interpretation strategy and overseeing the curation and delivery of the public engagement programme, including large-scale festivals and ongoing learning activities. Previous positions include Head of Learning and Volunteering at the Horniman Museum and Gardens, London and Acting Head of Learning Programmes at Thinktank, Birmingham’s Science Museum.

Vicky holds an MSc in Science Communication and a BA (Hons) in Science, Society and the Media.
