Introduction to Education Ethics Review Process (EERP)

The Education Ethics Review Process (EERP) is designed for educational projects only. To find out which process is most appropriate for your intended project, please use the Flow chart - choosing the right ethics process [pdf]contact us by email if you are not sure.

Once your application has been received, it is sent to two reviewers who will decide whether to grant approval for your research to go ahead, or whether changes are made before it can be approved. Applications received via EERP that are judged to be high risk will be referred by reviewers to the SETREC committee. You will be notified if your application is referred to this committee.

Once your application has been approved, you should notify us by email of any planned changes or extensions to your research, as you may need to submit a new application.
