On the first of June EYEC took part in a very big national celebration, Queen Elizabeth’s platinum jubilee. The platinum jubilee marked the Queen’s 70 years as monarch and that is an achievement worth celebrating!

Each room took part by creating blue, white, and red displays, castles out of cardboards, crowns, and baked biscuits to name a few. The front of the nursery showed cased and displayed all the amazing artwork of the children and staff. EYEC also had the pleasure of having King Ken (one of our senior educators) pay the nursery a royal visit.

In the afternoon, the children were invited to a royal ball in the garden and paraded their fancy clothes and costumes. The event was truly spectacular, and the children had a great time dancing, singing and parading.
