Dr Josip Car
Dr Car is a physician-scientist combining the roles of the Founding Director of Health Services and Outcomes Research Programme at LKC Medicine, joint new Medical School between Imperial College London and Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, a Director of the Global eHealth Unit and Co-Director of WHO Collaborating Centre for Public Health at Imperial College.
Mr Hassan Chaudhury
Hassan Chaudhury is CIO at Health iQ and is part of the team that developed Vantage, a groundbreaking Big Data platform for real world evidence. Hassan is an expert in developing real world data solutions, having spent many years at the forefront of Informatics, Public Health and Commissioning Support for the NHS; delivering and trouble-shooting large-scale Health Intelligence projects at national and regional levels, as well as at Acute and PCT. He is a public speaker and lecturer and works with both the NHS and the pharmaceutical industry; consulting on challenges that require genuine expertise and insight into health and social care data, its gaps, how to access it, how to add value and how to construct robust and compelling cases for change.
Mr Yusuf Ermak
Yusuf Ermak is an Associate Director at KPMG. Yusuf is a data expert, combining deep financial and technical expertise with sound commercial and strategic understanding. His focus is as a data strategy specialist in the Healthcare sector where he has supported a number of NHS organisations to develop their data strategies, capabilities and tools. His engagements have included the Care Quality Commission, the GMC and a number of CSUs and CCGs. He is passionate about helping his clients make more effective use of data to provide the most efficient, effective and evidence based services possible.
Dr Enda Ridge
Dr Ridge is an accomplished data scientist whose experience spans consulting, pre-sales of analytics software and research in academia. He has consulted to clients in the public and private sector. Enda is an expert in agile analytics for real world projects where data and requirements change often, resources and tooling are sometimes very limited and results must be traceable and auditable for high profile stakeholders. He has also applied machine learning and NoSQL approaches to problems in document classification, surveillance and IT access controls. His PhD used Design of Experiments techniques to methodically evaluate algorithm performance. Enda has authored or co-authored 12 academic research papers, is an invited contributor to edited books and has spoken at several analytics practitioner conferences. Enda holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Master’s in Applied Computing from the National University of Ireland at Galway and was awarded the National University of Ireland’s Travelling Studentship in Engineering. His PhD was awarded by the University of York, UK.
Mr Jerrell Schivers
Jerrell Schivers is a Lead Data Scientist at Black Duck Software. With over 20 years of software architecture development experience, Jerrell is an expert software engineer and data software architect. He leverages his experience in web application development and electronic data delivery within several verticals to create innovative data solutions for client networks. Jerrell was a principal architect and developer for several internet-startups.
Mr Edward Meinert
Edward is a technology strategy consultant with specific expertise in enterprise content management, data science, enterprise resource planning and customer relationship management. He advises organisations on methodologies, governance, risk management and execution of complex business transformations to ensure successful outcomes. As a principal consultant, Edward's practice focuses on the public sector and healthcare. His approach is to empower organisations with techniques to maximise capabilities and to build coalitions to achieve previously inaccessible objectives. His technology experience allows him to structure programmes to effectively make use of broad resources, empowering client teams to take up new ways of working and sometimes including management of 3rd parties (consultancies, system integrators) to accelerate delivery.
