Key information for new students 2018/19
Student memberships run annually from 1 September – 31 August, and there are two memberships types to choose from.
There will be a £30 annual membership fee for students wishing to use the gym and swimming pool.
Students who don't want to use the gym or pool can register as a 'Basic' member. From 1 September 2018, basic members will be required to sign up annually.

In order to register and use the centre you must complete the following:
- Register details online
- Watch building orientation
- Complete Health Commitment Survey (HCS)
- Pay any required fees for your chosen membership type
You will then be registered and will need your College ID Card to enter the centre and access the facilities you are entitled to use as part of your membership type.
WHITE CITY CAMPUS
From 1 September 2018 students studying at White City Campus (Medical and Chemistry only) will be able to access a gym membership at Westway Sports Centre for a £30 annual fee; the membership is inclusive of gym and group fitness classes. Students who opt to take the Westway membership will be unable to use the Ethos Gym, however you will have free access to the swimming pool and other Ethos facilities at the student rate.
