Model Publication Scheme for Higher Education Institutions in England, Wales and Northern Ireland (2000 - )

Freedom of Information Act 2000

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 a publication scheme must be produced by higher education institutions. The Information Commissioner has produced a Model Publication Scheme which comprises nine main groups (and the classes within them). The publication scheme acts as guide to the information published by the institution and its purpose is to ensure that as much information as possible is publicly available.
