Division of Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology ( - 2005)

The Division of Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the Faculty of Medicine at Imperial College London brings together a variety of specialties with a common clinical and academic link in neonatology. It was established in 1997 following the merger of the Charing Cross & Westminster Medical School and the Royal Postgraduate Medical School with the Imperial College School of Medicine. The Division is engaged in a broad spectrum of scientific research activities and provides an extensive programme of teaching. It includes the departments: the Institute of Reproductive and Developmental Biology; Obstetrics and Gynaecology; and Paediatrics. The Division is currently based across three sites: Chelsea & Westminster, Hammersmith, and St. Mary’s.

The Division became part of the Division of Surgery, Oncology, Reproductive Biology and Anaesthetics in August 2005
