Division of Molecular Biosciences (2005 - )

The Division of Molecular Biosciences is a highly focused Division within the Faculty of Life Sciences that aims to understand cellular function and biological mechanisms at a molecular scale. The determination and analysis of macromolecular structure including covalent modifications is a major activity within the Division. In addition, a number of important college-wide and faculty research centres are managed within the Division including the Centres for Structural Biology, Biomolecular Electron Microscopy, Bioinformatics and the Glycobiology Training and Infrastructure Centre as well as the newly formed cross-faculty NMR centre.
