AB - Applying the concepts of modular modeling, a general mathematical model of circulating fluidized bed (CFB) boiler by taking the 410 t/h Neijiang Pyroflow type CFB boiler as the object was established. For the current cell model of furnace was used, the model includes gas/solid fluidization, combustion of coal particles with wide size distribution, NOx formation and reduction, SO2 retention, heat transfer. The core-annular hydrodynamics model was used to estimate the influence recirculation. After comparing with the real site dynamic record data it can be drawn out that the mathematical model and simulation software package can reflect properly the dynamic processes of this CFBC system, it has practical value.
