If you have a valid membership which includes access to the gym you will be able to use the gym in Ethos as well as Charing Cross Hospital Gym, and Hammersmith Hospital Gym. If your membership does not include access to the Gym and you would like to receive this please contact Sport Imperial on ASK to upgrade your membership to a gym inclusive membership.
All students and staff with a valid membership are able to make use Move Imperials facilities located at other Imperial College London campuses. These include St Mary’s Pool Paddington, Charing Cross Hospital Gym, and Hammersmith Hospital Gym. To make use of these facilities please contact Move Imperial on ASK and request to have your ID card activated for a particular site.
You will need to register for an Active Imperial Membership online. This is a termly membership so you will need to renew each term. Active Leagues can be added to your membership as an additional cost.

Classes / booking

Group Fitness Classes need to be booked and paid for online, please visit Move Imperial Bookings. Classes become available to book on 6 days in advance and have set capacities.
Staff and students with a base membership will be able to purchase a Bolt On Unlimited Classes monthly membership online or purchase a pay as you go class online. Club Imperial Gold and Club Imperial Gold Partner memberships are inclusive of classes.
All bookings can be made using the Move Imperial Online Booking System with availability opening 6 days in advance. Staff and Students can use their usual College Username and Password to log in.
If you are a student wanting to book a facility on behalf of your club you must contact the Sports Partnership Administrator y.vines@imperial.ac.uk to book. All other bookings should be made online, please visit Move Imperial Bookings
The strength and conditioning room in Ethos is reserved for our performance teams and athletes and only these students can use the room in their booked, coached sessions. We will have 2 club sessions running throughout the week that will be first come first served. You can request the use of the performance room at The Reynolds by emailing: activelifestykes@imperial.ac.uk

You will need to ‘swipe in’ and ‘swipe out’ at the turnstiles located at the entrance to Ethos; the gym floor and pool entry will be ‘swipe in’ only with the gates automatically opening to let you out of these areas.
Ethos is spread over four floors and has an indoor 25m x 5 lane swimming pool, 2 x squash courts, indoor climbing wall, 5 x badminton court sports hall, gym floor and studio.

The last entry will be allowed half an hour before closing; the turnstiles at the entrance to Ethos will not allow access after this time.
The turnstiles will be located at the entrance to Ethos, the Gym Floor and Swimming Pool area. Access to these areas will be determined by the membership held; for details on the memberships available please visit Ethos Memberships

Yes. All members need to complete an Orientation and Health Commitment Statement to access any area of Ethos. These can be completed, booked and paid for online.

Move Imperial has two outdoor sports grounds – Heston Sports Grounds and Harlington Sports Grounds. Both sites are located near Heathrow Airport

Active boxes are available from your Halls receptions, you must leave a £5 deposit and ID. You must return all equipment and report any damages.
