Dr Mark Daniels from Imperial Health Centre will talk to you about registering with a GP, the types of Doctor’s appointments available in the UK, staying safe, looking after your mental health and dealing with exam pressures and the pressures of University life. Nigel Ward from the Security team will cover how to keep yourself safe while you are living in London. Some of the topics Nigel will focus on include: security awareness, keeping your personal possessions safe, E-crime, social media and keeping safe. |

Centre for Academic English |
Even if your first language is English, a major part of your degree will be the ability to write good Academic English. Dr Julie King from the Centre for Academic English will explain the support that her team can offer you during your time at the College. |

In this talk Darren Douglas (Advice Manager) and Arissa Reiriz Siaba (Advice Caseworker) talk about the support they provide to current students, from information and signposting to representation and advocacy.
