Updated: 7 November 2024
UAT-UK and our test provider, Pearson VUE, have now concluded their investigation into limited reports of misconduct during the October 2024 sitting of the Test of Mathematics for University Admission (TMUA).
The reports of misconduct relate to some instances of unauthorised sharing of test content within China.
The issue has been thoroughly investigated by UAT-UK and Pearson VUE and their conclusions have been shared with us.
We are satisfied that the misconduct has been limited, and appropriate action will be taken against any offending parties identified through the investigation. This includes any candidates discovered to have breached the terms of their misconduct policy.
We remain confident in the integrity of Pearson VUE's examination process, as well as the robust security measures that are in place for all of UAT-UK’s tests and their systems to identify irregular test performance.
The results of the October sitting of the TMUA will therefore continue to be used with full confidence by Imperial for selection for 2025 entry.
Thank you to everyone who has already provided feedback to us on this matter. We recommend visiting the UAT-UK test results page for the most up to date information and advice.
