Course overview

Further your understanding of the biological sciences on this three-year course, which includes a final year spent with the Imperial Business School. 

During your first two years, you'll explore the behaviour of living systems from the level of cells up to whole organisms and ecosystems.

Your studies will be complemented by a dedicated Life Science Skills programme where you'll receive training in quantitative skills, programming, statistics, and scientific writing and presentation.

The second year offers you the chance to specialise across a series of optional modules in areas including ecology, environmental science and biodiversity.

Through laboratory, computational and field work, you'll acquire the skills to design, carry out and analyse data from biological experiments.

You'll also benefit from access to a thriving research environment, with teaching delivered by world leaders in the field.

Your final year will be spent with the Imperial Business School, with the emphasis on preparing you for leadership roles.

This year will help you develop expertise in accounting, entrepreneurship and marketing as you build your appreciation of the management culture of business organisations.
